Whenever Awami League came to power, they were accused of plundering state resources and grouping the administration. Those who are presently in Bangladesh today, they have been seeing similar events since 1972. In fact, the continuation of the process of looting the abandoned assets of the state and non-Bengalis after the liberation war in 1971 has continued.
In 1974, The famine situation of Bangledesh caused loss of millions of people, the prime reasons behind that are speculation, forgery and smuggling of Awami League.
Professor
Nurul Islam, the first deputy chairman of the Bangladesh Planning
Commission said "Sheikh Mujib was aware of the
allegations of corruption against his ministers and the rumors in the
market. . One time I picked up the topic to him. He discussed this topic with some frustration. How did he take strict measures against those colleagues who were with him during the complex and dangerous times of politics? Sheikh
Mujib had to live a tough life to save himself from the spread of
Pakistani police and army, many of them were his partners. Sheikh Mujib requested them to not destroy the government's image. He was really in a state of intolerance. Even then, he was not able to take any action against his long-time political colleagues. "(Page-102)
In the Awami
tribe that established looting, due to the inevitable consequences of
corruption like Jadu's family, self-initiation started. Corruption will be the case of their dismemberment.
