Bimal Shil gave up hope of trial

Thana-police, lawyers, paying tribute to political leaders and running in the courtyard of the courtyard, he did all those, but now he is tired, helpless. His name is Bimal Shil. For more than one decade, he has gone to many people to get justice. Everyone gave him only assurance. But the man, who lost his family and his family fought for justice last 14 years. Now he has no regrets about this. Because he gave up hope of justice!
14 years ago, on November 18, 2003, 11 people of a family of minority were locked in a house and burned to death in Shilpara village of Sasanpur village in Banskhali, Chittagong. As a result, a family member of the family survived that day, because they were not at home. Bimal Shil is one of them. He said, it would not seem like a trial of such a big incident to stir up the whole country.
Bemal Shil's father Tejendra Lal Shil (70), who was burnt in Banshkhali that night, died. Bimal's mother Bakul Shil (60), brother Anil Shil (40), Anil's wife Smriti Shil (32), Anil's three children Rumi Shil (12), Sonia Shil (7) and four-day Kartik Shil died in the same incident. His cousin Babu Shil (25), Prasadi Shil (17), Ani Shil (7) and cousin Debendra Shil (72), who came to visit from Cox's Bazar, were cousins of Bimal Shil. Village doctor Bimal Shil was in Chittagong city for a job.
After the investigation of this case, it took nine years for the court to issue the chargesheet. After the testimony began to be taken, the trial was closed for two years after the accused stayed with the High Court. Later the testimony began to take place. But police could not produce a witness in the last one and a half years in court. Only 12 of the 57 witnesses have been recorded so far. 17 policemen of the witnesses. One of them did not testify. Describing this case, Bimal Shil said, "Then how do I expect the trial."
